Little Fight builds websites remotely across the United States. On-site tech support is a New York service, with each visit confirmed after we review the issue and location.
Inventory the accounts
List the domain, host, forms, email, analytics, booking, payments, and social profiles connected to the site.
Confirm recovery
Use business-controlled recovery details and identify the current administrators and approval process.
Document responsibilities
Record renewals, account purpose, and access roles in a secure business location.
Before we begin.
Can a vendor manage the accounts?
Yes. Give the vendor the access needed for the job while the business keeps control and a way to regain access. Review those roles when the work ends.
What if the original developer cannot be reached?
Find the domain provider, hosting company, and recovery contact first. Follow each provider’s account-recovery steps. Looking at a public website cannot unlock a private account.
Should credentials be emailed?
Avoid sharing passwords, recovery codes, or private keys through ordinary email. Use account roles or a safer business-approved method when access needs to be granted.
